We love this 1925 historical home with its colonial architectural design. It is situated with its guesthouse on a large one acre lot including a private detached patio and small lake on the backside of the property - a fun and rare find in the middle of OKC’s urban city life!
Historically, this estate was settled upon many acres of cattle land, and the guesthouse during those years was the estate's bunk house for its ranch hands. We recently gutted the guesthouse and restored its original pine wood floors and historical stone fireplace for a modern yet historical charming feel.
Private Parking:
You will have access to your own personal driveway on the property.
Private Patio:
The patio is privately located on the backside of the garage building, separated from the main house and faces the lake. It is available for you to relax and listen to the sound of ducks and the lake’s running fountain or the evening sound of the outdoors with the string lights lit above. Although located in the heart of city life, evenings out back feel as though you’re in the country. It’s the best of both!
Central Location:
Strategically OKC is all highway due to its spacious land size, and this property’s central location is perfect for visiting a variety of OKC hot spots with “around the corner” easy access to several of OKC’s main highways including I44: only 5 miles to downtown, 3 miles to many fabulous art districts with wonderful eateries, Chisholm Creek’s bars and restaurants including Top Golf, and next door to Lake Hefner’s lovely sunsets, on-the-lake wonderful restaurants and golf course!
#1 Bedroom:
Queen bed includes a memory foam mattress to ensure a perfect night’s sleep!
#2 Bedroom & Office (Full Bed):
Open floor-plan bedroom. The Urban Outfitters sofa turns into a size “full” bed somewhat like a futon. Set up of the bed with bedding and a memory foam mattress topper is provided for you before arrival.
Queen Size Air Mattress:
A queen size air mattress is also available and will be set up with bedding before your arrival in the office space if needed. It sleeps two people.
Kitchen:
Newly renovated with granite countertops and stainless steel appliances - dishwasher, microwave, toaster, gas stove, and a stackable washer/dryer - there is nothing you will lack during your stay! It comes fully stocked with cookware and dinnerware for meal prepping.
Overnight Necessities:
All the overnight necessities are provided such as bath amenities, hair dryer, breakfast to-go, filtered water and a fun selection of coffees and teas. The HD Smart TV will top off the night with all basic TV apps accessible such as Netflix, Amazon Prime, Roku, ESPN and more. Relax! We’ve got it covered!

Essentials:
Clean sheets and towels are provided at the beginning of every stay. To ensure you get settled in and have a great start to your visit, we provide a starter supply of toilet paper, paper towels, soaps, detergents and other essentials. However, these may not be enough for those booking an extended stay, and you may need to purchase additional supplies.
CHILDREN:
Settings are blocked for accepting children due to the lake and new furniture. We’re open to older children if you feel your child is a fit for our space. A request to book with details about your kiddo (example his/her age) is needed, and together we can decide if this Airbnb is a fit for you. Thank you!
EXTRA GUESTS During Your Stay:

As we are a family living in the main house, I can assure you that we keep a very tight schedule and are very busy. Therefore your space will be private and completely “yours.” We of course would love to meet you as we love the Airbnb community. We try to introduce ourselves to every guest at least briefly but know that sometimes plans make that impossible.
With that said, please feel free to message us for recommendations to our favorite local restaurants, coffee shops and bars if this becomes an interest to you!
Downtown, Midtown, and several art & dining districts are only minutes away as well as Classen Curve’s upscale shopping, Whole Foods, Trader Joe's, and Penn Square Mall. Hefner Lake’s fabulous restaurants are around the corner offering stunning sunset views and its lovely golf course. Centrally located with main attractions in every direction, guests will find easy access to the two main city highways. Edmond, Yukon and Norman are a perfect highway drive from this location avoiding city traffic.
OKC is all highway which means you’ll need the highway to get anywhere in town; however no worries as it’s super easy to figure out. We are located just around the corner from I44 and Hefner Parkway, two main OKC highways which easily gets you anywhere in the metro - a 10 minute or less drive to all the fun in any direction.
Lyft & Uber are available as well. OKC’s streetcar system is now open! Ask us for details!
Neighborhood:
We love our neighbors! In fact, my husband grew up on this street. We have a 30 year history with our neighbors and expect to host guests who will be respectful of our property and neighborhood as well.
No smoking including vaping inside the guest house. Please respect our new furniture and belongings so that other guests may too enjoy a smoke and chemical free environment.
We have a dog - a standard poodle - with a deep bark; however, have no fear as he is total poodle and pal! He is an indoor dog and will be inside our home most of the time with an occasional playtime outdoors.
