De biodiversiteit is hier groot. Op korte afstand van Groningen, Leeuwarden, Dokkum en de ydillische Waddeneilanden. De omgeving is zeer geschikt voor wandelen, fietsen, canoen.

Het b en b bevindt zich separaat en afgesloten van het hoofdgebouw. Eigen ingang, eigen slaapkamer en eigen badkamer. Er is één b en b ruimte.
