The cottage is situated on a smallholding in the historical village of Twee Rivieren, nestled in a little glen surrounded by mountains, water furrows, and many dams (great for swimming). Catch and release-fishing is allowed on the property. We are PET-FRIENDLY, and the cottage garden is fenced. There's NO LOAD SHEDDING and great Wifi. The place is perfect for holidaymakers and business travelers alike, seeing as it is close to all amenities with the bonus of countryside views and privacy.

The gateway to the Baviaans area in the eastern cape, is a little Gem of a town, an off-roaders DREAM! Steytlerville, where you can find fantastic off-road adventures, great for thrill-seekers like adventure bikers, 4x4 enthusiasts & mountain bikers alike. An arid area riddled with Karoo goodness, silence, stars, sheep, goats & all sorts of critters....an area loved by many. PLEASE bare in mind the water restrictions within the area & that load shedding affects the access to water.

There are 4 bedrooms, and two bathrooms, both with baths and one with a shower, in addition to the private outside shower. A spacious lounge with a comforting fire place and a beautiful wraparound veranda make you feel comfortable and at home. The farm is not on the main electricity grid nor is there any cell phone reception. Paraffin lamps are supplied in all rooms. The kitchen is well equipped and gas appliances are provided.

The quaint town of Twee Riviere is a typical South African Farming community with the little town of Joubertina nearby that will ensure that guests can still access all the basic facilities like shops, banks and restaurants.
